Who We Are

Started back in 2011 when Marc and Simone met at a coffee shop arguing about whether brutalism was dead or just hibernating. Turns out we both had this thing for old buildings that deserved better and new buildings that should've known better.

Our Philosophy

Look, we're not gonna bore you with fancy architectural jargon. Here's the deal - every building's got a story, and we're pretty obsessed with making sure that story doesn't end with a wrecking ball or a soulless glass box. We've spent years crawling through century-old attics and sketching designs on napkins at 2 AM because when you care about this stuff, it kinda takes over your life.

Heritage restoration? That's where our hearts live. But we're not stuck in the past - we're just trying to drag the good parts forward. Sustainable design isn't a checkbox for us; it's literally how we think about every single project. Because what's the point of preserving yesterday if we're trashing tomorrow?

The Team Behind the Drawings

We've got about 18 people in our Toronto studio now - architects, urban planners, historians, sustainability nerds, and one intern who's way too good at SketchUp. Everyone here genuinely cares about the work, which sounds cheesy but it's true. We argue a lot (in a productive way), drink too much coffee, and occasionally remember to go home before midnight.

If you're into buildings that respect their context, cities that work for actual humans, and design that doesn't sacrifice tomorrow for today's Instagram post - yeah, we should probably talk.
